Los Angeles is arguably the media capital of the world, but local media coverage is almost non-existent. Knock LA is powered by volunteer and freelance journalists who care deeply about our city, reporting on critical issues like <a href="https://knock-la.com/sheriffs-department-parties-hollywood-4c116b9079b7">law enforcement misconduct</a>, <a href="https://knock-la.com/vons-fires-delivery-drivers-prop-22-e899ee24ffd0">corporate labor abuses</a>, and the <a href="https://knock-la.com/homeless-los-angeles-project-roomkey-lahsa-12027aafec7b">housing and homelessness crisis</a>. Knock LA is a non-profit community journalism project, originally conceived by <a href="https://www.groundgamela.org/">Ground Game LA</a>. Knock LA does not accept money from ad revenue, affiliate revenue, or brand sponsorship deals - your support is what keeps us going. We are dedicated to providing independent journalism and telling the real story of LA.

We don’t even know what to say about this level of generosity except thank you, thank you, thank you. Your considerate donation further supports Knock LA’s mission to uplift marginalized voices and speak truth to power. You get all of the perks mentioned above and a spot on our Donor Page (once we make one). We will also make time during meetings to talk about how hard you rule for being a top-tier patron and overall lovely person.
